A desktop and or laptop PC that just boots straight in Xen or VMWare. No windows, no Linux, just a pure virtual machine. Extra points for giving me the option to install a range of operating systems into that environment at config/purchase time.

I’m not sure what it is you want. Why don’t you just buy a server with VMWare ESX preinstalled? Dell has those, I’m sure. It doesn’t make sense to use a desktop or laptop(?!) for this.

Jo, I need it for development (we developed on both Linux and Windows) and to test different versions of the Windows operating system. I also need it to be portable.
